The Diocese of Samallūṭ is making every effort to end the crisis of Coptic visitors to the monastery of the Virgin Mary in Jabal al-Ṭayr, by opening the entrances to the roads and allow the Copts to enter, pray and receive blessings, after the suffering they have experienced. This comes after the closing of the entrances leading to the monastery for a distance of more than 5km, which forced the Copts to walk long distances to reach the monastery.
