Egypt's Salafist al-Nūr Party on Wednesday, January 9, chose Yūnis Makhīyūn as its chairman in an internal party election. Makhīyūn, who won the election uncontested, replaces former Al-Nūr leader, Dr. ’Imād ’Abd Al-Ghaffūr.
