Nūr Party vice president, Sayyid Khalīfah, stated that the party will hold a meeting today headed by the Secretary General Jalāl al- Murrah, and the members of the presidential team to discuss the reports on the elections.

The ongoing crisis between the Ministry of Endowments and the Da’wah al- Salafiah has reignited after statements by Dr. Sabry Ibādah, deputy of ministry of endowments.
A leader in al- Da’wah al- Salafiah has revealed the details of the discussions that took place during the past two days between the Da’wah al- Salafiah shaykhs concerning not having until now licenses from the Ministry of Endowments allowing them to preach in mosques.
Minister of Culture, Jābbir ‘Asfūr,  criticized the position of the Azhar on the movie Noah. He stated that he shall not follow nor is he committed to the opinion of the Azhar.
