A member of the Parliament suggests raising the age of guardianship from the age of 10 for the male child and 12 for the female to 15 for both. She asserts that this will help in the stability of the children and improving their abilities.
At last the People’s Assembly (parliament) has once and for all settled the issue of child custody in favor of mothers until they reach the age of 15, after which they may be asked to choose whether to continue staying with their mothers, or like to switch to fathers.
