Emad El-Din Aysha, PhD believes the October War Celebrations were celebrated in a much too religious way for such a ‘national’ occasion. The new Minister of Culture, Helmy Al-Namnam, a "good Muslim" and self-declared "secularist" according to the author is "a long-time advocate of moderating the Islamic message in mosques and on television and everywhere."
