Dr. Nasr Abu Zayd, sympathizer and supporter of the RNSAW from the first hour received the Franklin Delano Roosevelt prize for his contribution to the Freedom of Worship on June 10. “The message is to address both the Western World and the Muslim World as such. Islam is not static, non-dynamic, or a fixed set of rules. It is not a violent terrorist religion by nature. Any religion could be misused, politicized and manipulated to serve a certain ideology.”
