The Egyptian character has shown a clear continuity that links its present to its past, and its history is similar to a number of layers of various cultures that have been absorbed by the Egyptian….past and present have been unified to present a positive picture that nevertheless has some negative aspects, but the Egyptian succeeded in preserving the positive aspects and by his tolerance and genius was able to sidestep the negative aspects.
