The Ministry of Endowments is set to embark on its annual new Hijrī year’s eve celebrations tomorrow at the Nūr Mosque in ‘Abbāsiyyah.

Cairo Governor Dr. Mahmūd ‘Abd al-‘Azīm, Azhar Grand Shaykh Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyib, Endowments Minister Dr. Mahmūd Hamdī Zaqzūq, Grand Muftī Dr. ‘Alī Jum‘ah, as well as various other religious figures and representatives from the Azhar and Endowments Ministry are all set to attend the celebrations.

The event will include a Qur’ān reading by Shaykh al-Tabīb Ahmad Nu‘ayna‘ and speeches by Endowments Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Sālim ‘Abd al-Jalīl and the Ministry’s religious sector head, Shaykh Shawqī ‘Abd al-Latīf.
