The State Commissioners Authority asserted during a session in the Council of State's Supreme Administrative Court the rights of the Copts who converted to Islam to reverse their faith back to Christianity.

The Authority said Copts may have their recent religion shown in their birth certificates and identification cards next to a space showing their previous religions too.

The Authority also sought the abolition of a decision prohibiting the inclusion of the recent religion of apostates.
