The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) underlined commitment to attaining the ambitions of the Egyptian people in order to establish a civil state based on democracy where freedom and social justice are achieved.

SCAF is backing and following up the work of the different security agencies in order to restore security for the citizens as a prerequisite for the requirements of this stage to materialize, SCAF said in its 64th statement on its Facebook page.

The military council called on the people to shoulder their responsibilities of backing the civil police so that anyone attempting to breach security or intimidate the citizens would be arrested.
