Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III welcomes Dr. Butrus Butrus Ghālī, President of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) and Dr. 'Alī al-Sammān, President of the Paris-based International Union for Jewish-Muslim-Christian Dialogue and Peace Education (ADIC).

In the meeting, Pope Shenouda affirmed that he was in complete understanding with Grand Shaykh of the Azhar Dr. Ahmad al-Tayīb about the new ideas in the unified law on construction of houses of worship.
