The Islamic parties' website adapted a sectarian campaign against Copts in the parliamentary elections. During the election, the Islamic parties' website repeatedly published news about Copts' violations in the elections.

The worst campaign was conducted by al-Nūr salafī party which published a fabricated picture of the Egyptian bloc that says that it is the voice of the church.
