In another development, the administrative judiciary court in the coastal governorate of al-Ismailia adjourned a lawsuit accusing foreigners of trespassing on about 20% of the archeological spots in South Sinai, in Saint Catherine area, and setting up buildings and brining foreign monks to reside there.

The court adjourned until the September 11 session the case filed by retired Major General Ahmad Rajā’ī against the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), the prime minister, the ministers of defense, tourism, environment, chairman of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), the head of the national security department, the governor of South Sinai and the Metropolitan of Saint Catherine Monastery.
