The Coptic Orthodox papal elections committee receiving appeals on September 15, 2012 from registered voters and for 15 days, in preparation for the sacred lot on December 2, 2012.

Bishop Bula of Tantā and media spokesperson of the church, said that the Coptic Orthodox Holy Synod omitted 216 names from the voters tables and added 27 which update the total to 2405 voters plus five representatives of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
