Colonel General 'Abd al-Fattāh Khalīl al-Sīsī, Commander-In-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, sent a congratulatory cable to Pope Tawadros yesterday (May 4) bestowing his Easter greetings upon the Copts. He expressed his pride for the Armed Forces in fulfilling their duties to protect Egypt, its holy places and its freedoms for all the Egyptian people, and he added that this duty embodies loyalty to the country.
