Karīm Kamāl, president of the union, stated that the recent violence, unprecedented in the Egyptian society, has jeopardized media outlets when the perpetrators blocked the Production Media City and blocked the judges from accessing the Supreme Constitutional Court. The latest curfew imposed on the Suez Canal cities has ignited more violence. Private and public properties were destroyed amid a collapsing economy and absence of security to protect the civilians.
