Al- Akhbar reports on the role of the Islamic and Christian clerics in spreading awareness on the importance of positive participation in the forthcoming presidential elections. Dr. Mukhtār Gum’ah, Minister of Endowments, stated that the role of the imams will be to spread awareness without calling for electing any candidate.  Bishop Yuhanna Qultah, deputy patriarch of the Coptic Catholic Church, stated that the Sunday sermon will be dedicated to spread awareness of the importance of positive participation in the elections (Abd al- Wahhīd Su’udī et al, al- Akhbār, April 5, p. 7). Read original text in Arabic.
