The board of the Azhar university, headed by Dr. Usāmah al- ‘Abd  has denounced  the attack of Shaykh al- Qaradāwī against the grand Imam Dr. Ahmad al- Tayyīb. Al-Qaradāwī stated that he is getting support of 100 Azharites against their Shaykh, with reference to al- Tayyīb. The board stated that his claims are unreal.
