- Bastiaan Belder (born 25.10.1946) has been a Dutch Member of the European Parliament (EP) since 1999. He currently serves as a Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, substitute Member of the Agricultural Committee and as Vice-Chair of the EP Delegation for relations with Israel (2014 - 2019). As a Member of the European Parliament Mr. Belder visited many countries in the Middle East, including Egypt and Jordan. He was rapporteur on the EU relations with Iran and wrote several reports on the EU-relations with China. Belder is a Member of the Reformed Political Party (Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij, SGP), a conservative Christian political party in the Netherlands.

- Prof. Dr. Hoda Awad, Secretary-General of the Center for Arab-West Understanding, Professor of Political Science at Misr International University. Prof. Awad is Coptic Evangelical, serves on the board of the Coptic Evangelical Organisation for Social Services (CEOSS) and several other Christian organizations in Egypt.
- Dr. Matthew Anderson, MA in Theology (Anglican), PhD in Muslim-Christian relations Georgetown University, USA.
- Mette Toft Nielsen, Danish, former intern at the Center for Arab-West Understanding, MA in Culture, Communication and Globalisation (CCG) with a specialization in International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER). She is the main author of the book: "Women in post-revolutionary Egypt: Can behaviour be controlled?" Mette also has a teachers education and is just about to start her fourth year as a teacher in a Danish public school. She is currently focused on the importance of discourses and narratives in how we make meaning to the world, we are a part of.
- Prof. Dr. Hassan Wagieh, PhD Georgetown University, Professor of Linguistics and Political Science and expert in international negotiation and crisis management, al-Azhar University. Since 3-4 years chairman of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (FEPS), Future Eniversity Egypt (FUE), Cairo. Dr. Wagieh was with Cornelis Hulsman invited by the German organization Missio to travel in 2004 to Germany for their campaign “Dare to meet the other,” discussions about Muslim-Christian relations in Egypt. Missio had invited Hulsman as an expert on the position of Christians in Egypt. Hulsman in turn asked Dr. Hamdi Zaqzouq, then minister of Endowments, for a Muslim scholar to join. Dr. Zaqzouq assigned Dr. Wagieh in his capacity as member of the Higher Council of Islamic Affairs. Together they visited the German Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, universities, churches, mosques in the region of Berlin and surroundings. Wagieh and Hulsman have since that moment developed a strong friendship.
