The constituent assembly approved an article giving citizens the right to form non-governmental associations and political parties by only notification. 
President Mursī is receiving the draft of Egypt’s first post-revolution constitution from Counselor Husām al-Ghiryānī, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, in the presence of the constitution-writing members.
Dr. Muhammad Mahsūb, Minister of State for Legal & Parliamentary Affairs, revealed that the drafting committee in the constituent assembly introduced several amendments to the draft constitution issued on October 24 upon proposals received by members of the panel.
