Minister of Culture Farūq Husnī forbade the printing of a book entitled, ‘Al-Ṣūrah al-Insānīyah wa-al-Ṣūrah al-Muqaddasah’ [Humanitarian Picture and Sacred Picture] written by Ahmad ‘Abd al-Halīm ‘Atīyah, which contained pictures of the Prophet Muhammad.
