Muḥammad ʿAbd Allah (32) is one of the founders of the FJP Ḥizb al-Ḥurriya w-al-ʿAdāla [Freedom and Justice Party] (FJP), working within their General Assembly. He is a Member of the Muslim Brotherhood since 15 years. In the transcript he states his opinions about the compatibility of Sharīʿa and its implementation in the political system of Egypt. This interview was part of an Arab-West Report project for a book on Islamist movements during the year 2013. Data collected were placed online in June 2016. All interviewees gave their approval to publish the transcripts.
