'Amr Hamzāwī in his opinion article in al-Shurūq calls on Christians in Egypt  to participate without fear in creating Egypt's future.

He added that, after a lot of discussions with Egyptian Christians, he had the impression that they had a lot of legitimate fears. These fears needed to be dealt with positively instead of retreating from general and political life and getting back to the negativity.
