A large number of journalists and news reporters who showed up in Sūl village yesterday in the morning of March 7, 2011, were stopped and prevented from entering the place where the Church was torched and demolished.

Aggressive verbal contact occurred between media persons and town residents. All news reporters and journalists were prevented from entering the town and stood there for several hours without anyone being able to video tape the Church. 

On a different note, several religious officials and recognized family partners prepared to welcome Shaykh Muhammad Hassān, an Islamic preacher, who was willing to stand with the town residents as well as work together on ending the current crisis.
