Bishop Marqus of Shubrā al-Khaymah told Arab West Report that a plot of land owned by the Saint Mina (Mār Mīnā) and Saint Mercurius (known as Abū Sayfayn, Arabic for "the holder of two swords") Church in Shubrā al-Khaymah was trespassed by a number of Salafists. The land is adjacent to a Church building in Mantāy village and has an area of 425 square meters. The Church had built concrete pillars and a wall of bricks to preserve its right in the land and prevent people from littering in the land. After Salafists stormed the land, they placed a sign saying "al-Rahmah Mosque". That was at 10 a.m. on November 5, 2012 after which they performed their prayers and left the land at November 6 in the morning. However, some of them are still gathered off the above-mentioned land.
