CairoUniversity has decided to expel 23 students for raising the Qa’idah (al- Qaeda) flag on the university campus during the events of protests and sabotage last Wednesday (March19). The spokesman of the university, ‘Adil Abd al- Ghaffār stated the university is composing a list of names of other students who took parts in sabotage actions in order to penalize them. Dr. Gābbir Nassār, the head of CairoUniversity, stated that he will forcefully apply the law and implement the new article added to the University Organization Laws that allows the expulsion of students who have taken part in acts of sabotage (Hānī al- Nukhrashi, al- Shurūq, March 22, p. 1).
