In her youth, Mrs. Anderson attended a church that she describes as “Christian, but not Protestant, since they were not protesting anything.” Regarding the exact denomination of this church, Mrs. Anderson says that it is a separate church calling itself Christian that did not want to be connected to the others. The community interacted with Jewish and Catholic communities as well. After receiving the Holy Spirit at 22 years old, Mrs. Anderson fasted until God started speaking to her, informing her that one day she and her chosen spouse would go to the Negev and be part of an everlasting covenant. The experience “freaked her out,” and she consulted with her minister and her Bible-studying friend. When asked about the ways in which God speaks to her, Mrs. Anderson reports that the thoughts come to her mind that she could never even think of, sometimes waking her up in the morning, and that she knows do not come from her. Mrs. Anderson provides examples of reallife situations when God spoke to her, such as instructing her to visit a nurse in the hospital to whom God had been speaking as well. After consulting with her pastor, he advised her to study the books of Clarence Larkin, whom many Bible scholars have studied. She also developed an interest in the Book of Revelation. Throughout her studies of the Scripture, Mrs. Anderson formed a belief that the Book of Revelation and the information that Jesus provided to us that was given to him by his father enable us to calculate the timing of prophesied events. One day, God woke her up and told her to write a book, after which He advised her to seek help from her friends who were experienced in book writing.
