Pope Tawāḍrūs II stressed that establishing a diocese for American and Canadian youth could impact and influence the Coptic Orthodox Church’s service to young people.  The idea stems from a youth diocese that Pope Shinūda III established around 40 years ago.
Bishop Mūsa, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church’s Youth Bishopric, announced that more than 90 thousand young people have participated in specialized courses organized by the Youth Bishopric since its establishment 20 years ago.
The youth summer courses, organized and supervised by the Coptic Orthodox Church’s Youth Bishopric, will be launched in July with the participation of eight diocesan bishops led by Pope Tawāḍrūs II.
