Co-founder and editor-in-chief of Arab-West Report, documenting Arab-West and Muslim-Christian relations with a media critique.

General Director of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation:

  • Building an electronic library with over 28,000 reviews from Arab media and investigative reporting about subjects related to Arab-West and Muslim-Christian understanding
  • Supervising academic papers by student interns from various Western and Egyptian universities and developing CIDT into the largest intern provider in Egypt
  • Lecturing on Arab-West relations at Vienna University, the European Parliament, the annual the Bjoern Bue’s Human Rights Memorial Lecture in Norway for 2012
  • Organizing the visit of an Egyptian multiparty delegation to The Netherlands, October 2012
  • Forming a large network of connections with political and religious leaders as well as academic institutions in Egypt and other Arab countries
