Fr. Būlus Ḥalīm, spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church, said that His Holiness Pope Tawāḍrūs II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark, consecrated alters and icons in fourteen churches while recently visiting the United States of America.  During his visit, which began on September 13 and lasted until October 8, the Pope also presided over eighteen liturgical masses and delivered forty-one sermons and lectures.
