After the killing of 21 Copts by the Islamic State earlier this year, the Egyptian Church started to count the number of the remaining Copts in neighboring Libya. This contributes to an organized evacuation and helps placing them in Egypt, the United States and various European countries. At the same time, a demonstration in front of the White House was organized by the American Coptic community to commemorate the Coptic victims in Libya and express their support for Egypt’s fight against Terrorism.
