Salafīs have stopped Shaykh Muhammad ‘Iz al-Dīn Abd al-Sattar, First Deputy for preaching affairs, Ministry of Endowments, from entering al-Rahmān al-Rahīm mosque in MutāhrahVillage, Abū Qurqās district, Minya. Instead they allowed Shaykh Muhammad Ya’qūb to give the Friday sermon.

Minya and Abu Qurqās dioceses made an announcement about the sectarian violence in the villages of Banī Āhmed Al-Sharqīah and Beni Ahmed el-Gharbiya and Rida.
