The Dutch delegation stayed three nights in Saint Anthony’s monastery where they attended masses and engaged in discussions about religion. This report describes how one of the oldest monasteries in the world is practicing the Christian faith. The monastery does not allow armed policemen to stay on the premises overnight, and thus our Christian driver, Mina, had to take the policeman assigned to us back to Cairo. They both returned to the monastery three days later.
