Al-Wafd newspaper has finished its tour in Upper Egypt, in particular visiting the governorate of Al-Minya and Assiut and some of the monasteries there. And what it has found is shocking. The tour showed the degree of carelessness suffered by the officials in the Ministry of Culture. The officials have not exerted the least efforts to take care of the Coptic monuments there and at the same time they are blaming the monks for their carelessness in taking care of these monuments.
