The article deals with the letter signed by 138 Muslim scholars inviting Christian clerics to dialogue and Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran’s statements in which he claims that having a theological dialogue with Muslims is difficult. Both secretary-general of the International Union for Muslim Scholars and secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference stress they have no connection with this letter and Muhammad al-Musayyar, professor of creed and philosophy at the Azhar University explains the true concept of dialogue.
