In an interview with Shaykh ‘Alī Jum‘ah, he emphasized that all Egyptian citizens are equal, either Muslims or Christians, and that Islam calls for believing in and respecting all religions. Furthermore, he highlights that there are a number of recommendations and initiatives to enhance relations between Muslims and Christians and find solutions for the real reasons resulting in the recent incidents.
