Copts always feel that  state security does not intervene to resolve their problems unless they resort to demonstrations and media pressure. General Fu’ād 'Allām, former state security deputy, points out that the relationship between Copts and the state is run through the state security. That is why Copts think that the state security is the decision maker in all Coptic affairs.
