Muslim organizations' attorney Mamdoud Ismail requested in a report to the Attorney General that Bishop Bīshūy, the rumored heir to the papal throne, be interrogated for hinting at sectarian war in an interview with Al-Miṣrī al-Yawm newspaper where he said that Muslims are guests in Egypt and that Copts are ready for martyrdom should anyone attempt to govern churches.
