‘Adil claims that a number of Christian and Jewish businessmen in the United States secretly plan on forming an alliance for protecting Copts in Egypt. He also claims that many United States Congress members have been urged to issue legislations for punishing the Egyptian government and that Copts living abroad have suggested there be a minister for Coptic affairs appointed by the President and removed only by the Pope. He then goes on to talk about the United States Congress’ views on the Kāmīlīya Shihātah and Wafā‘ Constantine cases.
