Abū al-Futūh says that places of worship have been used as a place for demonstrations these past few weeks and that some of the chants are offensive to the holiness of these places. Professors at the Azhar university say that mosques should be a place to spread culture and faith and that the loud nature of demonstrations are distracting for people who are praying.
