The Muslim Brotherhood and other representatives of political forces filed 20 appeals to the supreme administrative court and the supreme constitutional court to null the current parliament.

Subhī Sālih an MB says that they back their appeal with article 87 in the constitution that states: “The number of the elected members of the People’s Assembly must be at least 350 members of whom one half at least must be workers and farmers elected by direct secret pubic balloting..The President of the Republic may appoint a number of members not exceeding ten.” In addition, other MBs suggested internationalizing the case. 

MB defector member of parliament, Magdī ‘Ashūr, said that he will join the opposing front in the MB if they expelled him from the group.
