After meeting Deputy Prime Minister Yahya al-Jamāl on Sunday March 13, Coptic demonstrators ended their sit-in in front of Egyptian Television building.

The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces reassured demonstrators that it would release 11 Copts, who were arrested for breaking the curfew.

Furthermore, the government promised to rebuild burned down churches and to reopen churches that have been closed for security reasons.
