Dr. 'Abd al-Mu'tī Bayūmī, Former Dean of Faculty of Usūl al-Dīn, said there are no theories in Islam about politics or economics that can deal with the age we are in.

He added that the last interpretation of the Qur'ān was dating from 100 years ago. He also added that some of the salafists promote the hadīth that ban greeting Copts and ignored the 10 hadīths about peace with the people of the book [Christians].
