The Christian channel al-Hayāh which is broadcasted from the U.S. announced that Kāmīliyā Shihātah and her husband will appear on a TV show shot outside Egypt.

Neither the Coptic Church nor Kāmīliyā Shihātah’s lawyer knew about the interview.

Shihātah's lawyer said he has lost contact with her and is disappointed about her intended appearance on a foreign TV channel. He added that he considers ending her plea.
