Joseph Malāk, Coptic Orthodox Church in Alexandria's lawyer and manager of the Egyptian Center for Human Rights Development Studies; Kamīl Sidīq, Secretary of al-Milī Church Council; and Nādir Marqus, member of al-Milī council, sent a complaint to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), asking to reveal their investigation into the explosion at the Two Saints Church, Saint Mark and Pope Peter in Alexandria.
Claimants said that they had previously filed this with the Premier General Attorney in Alexandria prosecution, and demanded that the details surrounding the culprits' release be revealed.
A non-official response was issued noting that the investigation has been halted since January 25 and was restricted to hearing testimonies without presenting any culprits to the prosecution.
