Dr. Mustafá Amīn, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiques reviewed yesterday with Pope Shenouda Patriarch of Alexandria and the Sea of Sr. Mark the projects of the Coptic antiques renovation in the different governorates which the council accomplished as, for example, the Hanging Church ‘al-Mu’alaqah’ – still working on it, the Fortress of Babylon, Monastery of Anba Antonius in the Red Sea, and the renovation of the Coptic antiques in Masr al-Qadīmah. This was during the meeting between Amīn and Pope Shenouda yesterday in the Cathedral in A’bāsīyah to offer him condolences to the victims of the incidents of Maspero. Amīn, afterwards, directed an invitation to the Pope to inaugurate the renovations of Saint Virgin Mary Church known also as the Hanging Church ‘al-Mu’alaqah’in Old Cairo which is ready to be inaugurated in front local and universal visits.
