Dozens from the Maspero Youth Union, Second Anger Revolution, and We are all Mena Daniel organized yesterday afternoon a protest march from Shubrá area to the High Court of Justice condemning the recent Maspero incidents, and requesting the instant release of detained political activists. Protesters gathered in Shubrá area where they repeated shouts against the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) such as “Muslims and Christians are one hand,” “No to sectarian sedition,” “No to persecution of Copts,” and “We will get their right, otherwise we will die like them.” In addition, they demanded that the Governor of Aswan and the Minister of Information be dismissed and the videos recorded by the CCTVs of the Egyptian Television & Radio Union (ETRU) be released. They also raised signs “Release Mena Tala´at Noshi and Alaa Ahmed Abd al-Fattāh.”
