The Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah group in Alexandria said Dr. Muhammad Mursī is the president of Egypt and its supreme commander of the armed forces, warning the Higher Presidential Election Commission (HPEC) against approaching “Egypt’s elected president, Mursī, who is a red line”.

“We refuse having Egypt’s President Mursī taking the constitutional oath before the Supreme Constitutional Court.
