During a march yesterday (November 23) that started from the Azīz Billah Mosque in Hilmīyat al-Zaytūn, the supporters of the deposed president spray-painted on the walls of the Church of the Virgin Mary writings disrespectful of the Pope Tawadros II and the army, including: “Down with the rule of the Pope,” “Down with the Pope’s military,” and “Egypt is Islamic”.
