Walter Rich criticizes Obama for not being clear about the attack on a restaurant in Paris in January. The attack on the Jewish restaurant seems to have been carried out deliberately on Friday when many Jews were present. Rich noted that Obama’s vagueness about the incident and the attackers’ Islamic background shows his wish to turn the page and not engage in a discussion on anti-Semitism and Islamism. Rich believes that there is a connection between Obama’s cautiousness in this matter and the most important issue on the US foreign policy agenda: the nuclear deal with Iran.
